Music plays an important role in our lives. It's an essential tool for expressing our emotions. Furthermore, if you like listening to music then make the most of it, listen to it and sing along,'s one of the best ways to improve your pronunciation. Those who know me from other years might have heard me talking about an excellent student I had a few years ago whose pronunciation was brilliant, almost like a native speaker. Guess what?! She was a big fan of "The Beatles" (great band, by the way), and knew all the songs by heart. She had been listening to them since she was a little girl... and now she could speak like them too!!!!!

"The Beatles" are indeed one of my favourite bands ever, for many reasons. My dad used to play them for me and my sister when we were little girls, Liverpool means a lot to me and it is, of course, the city to visit if you like music. They are just fantastic, full stop.

"The Beatles" were from Liverpool. The members were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison. Only Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still alive. They used to play in a club called "The Cavern". Nowadays, you can still visit "The Cavern", and if you are lucky to be 18 or to go with a teacher who has previously asked for permission to go in, you can enjoy good live music there.  To find out more about their lives, click on the fucsia link above (The Beatles).
